This guide walks Shopify merchants through PrepKingz Shipping—from installing the app to pushing tracking numbers back to Shopify. Label-only merchants can skip warehouse fulfillment steps (Operations desk). Amazon FBA is a separate product at dashboard.prepkingz.ca; it does not use this shipping portal account.

1. Install PrepKingz from Shopify Admin

In Shopify Admin, open Apps and install PrepKingz. Approve the requested scopes for orders, fulfillments, and location access so PrepKingz can sync paid orders and register a fulfillment location when warehouse fulfillment is enabled.

2. Create your PrepKingz shipping account

Open /signup and register with your legal business and billing details. Verify your email, then sign in at /login. Amazon FBA customers should use the separate FBA dashboard instead of this signup flow.

3. Connect Shopify in Integrations

In the portal, open Integrations, enter your your-store.myshopify.com domain, and choose Connect. Complete the Shopify approval if prompted. When warehouse fulfillment is enabled for your account, PrepKingz registers a fulfillment service location in Shopify so assigned orders can flow to the Operations desk.

4. Fund the prepaid CAD wallet

Open Billing and fund your prepaid CAD wallet via Stripe Checkout. Where offered, you can also fund with Interac e-Transfer using the instructions shown in the portal. Label purchases debit this balance—there is no surprise carrier invoice at ship time. Wallet and label refund rules are described on /refund.

5. Sync orders into PrepKingz

Sync your Shopify orders from the portal. Paid, unfulfilled Shopify orders appear under Orders, ready to rate and fulfill. Keep the connection active so new orders continue to import.

6. Compare rates and buy labels

From an order, compare bookable rates across major carriers—Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx. The cheapest bookable major-carrier rate is selected by default. Confirm purchase to buy labels from your wallet balance. Label-only merchants ship from their own facility after printing; they can skip the next warehouse step.

7. Optional PrepKingz fulfillment (Operations desk)

If you use PrepKingz warehouse fulfillment, staff work orders on the Operations desk: buy labels, pick, pack, and scan tracking. Same-day processing uses a 2:00 PM Toronto (ET) cutoff. Label-only merchants skip this step and handle pick and pack themselves.

8. Push tracking to Shopify

When a tracking number exists, PrepKingz pushes fulfillment to Shopify with notifyCustomer enabled. The shopper receives the merchant's normal Shopify shipping notification with carrier and tracking. PrepKingz does not change Shopify checkout, payment, or your theme.
